Established in 2015 by Paul Davis, this independent, award winning hair salon is situated on the fringes of Cambridge’s historic town centre and is known to be the smallest hairdressing salon in the country. This hairdressing salon has been transformed to create a light, contemporary, sleek, and stylish boutique hair salon. The Salon Cambridge has been fully renovated floor to ceiling, for a strong industrial feel, though still relaxed and welcoming.

On our doorstep, there are micro pubs, restaurants and beauty salon, not to mention several renowned universities that brings with it the bustle of busy students. All this, and the fact that you are only a ten minute walk from the town centre.

We pride ourselves on being innovative hairdressers, creative and aspire to always offer a level of customer service to exceed our customer’s expectations – our reviews say it all! Our experienced and forward-thinking hairdressing stylists Paul and Kate are classically trained and use this foundation to create individual hairstyles and hair colours by mixing classic cutting techniques with modern ideas to bring industry-leading hair care to Cambridge.

PAUL

Paul is a highly skilled (Master craftsman Hair Council ) hairdresser with a professional career that spans more than 30 years in salon experience, working in high-end, independent hair salons in London, Birmingham and Cambridge.

Paul has an obvious enthusiasm and passion for his work and people which comes from growing up with a deep-rooted artistic steak – so creativity is in his blood! Paul loves a good old chat and is a firm favourite with clients thanks to his super-friendly nature and of course, his skill with the scissors and colouring techniques. From classic cuts to curls and everything in-between!

Paul is a stylish guy with a keen interest in art and fashion, but he is also a bit of a self-confessed geek and likes nothing better than to find the latest bit of technology to enhance his life!

His wife and young son helps keep him grounded and happy at home.

KATE

Working in the hairdressing industry for over 21yrs, Kate brings wealth of knowledge and passion for hairdressing to the team at The Salon Cambridge. She brings a blend of hairdressing techniques together with her passion for exploring new techniques. Kate’s signature haircut is a bob, she really has great precision when it comes to any bob style that gets requested!

Kate loves her family and outside of work, spends quality time capturing special moments with her two munchkins and significant other! Kate is super friendly, bubbly and most of all cares about your experience in the salon and really prides herself on making sure you leave the salon looking like you’re a superstar!
